Our sweet fammily of 3!

3 months

I don't have any stats this month. We go back at 4 months for a check up so I will post about stats then. She seems to be on the small (or shall I say short) side. Saylor is such a good baby! She goes down for the night around 9pm and wakes up at 8am. We have been blessed with such a good sleeper:) She is still eating 4 ounces every 2-3 hours. She only cries if she is hungry or tired. She seems to know what she wants when she wants it. Recently, we have gotten a lot more use of the play mat on the floor, the bouncy seat, and the swing. She will entertain herself for about 15 minutes at a time. She even sat in her bumbo seat for the first time this past week. She does great holding her head up. When we do tummy time, she seems pretty content so she hasn't rolled over yet. I bet it happens any day now. I am going back to work this coming week. It is so bittwesweet for me. While I am extremely excited to work, I am so sad to leave my sweet girl. She will be staying with my mom and my mother-in-law. We are blessed to have them so we don't have to choose a daycare. I know she will be well taken of but I will miss her like crazy. I'm sure after a few weeks we will all adjust and be fine. Wish us (mostly me) luck!

There's so much to say but I'll make it short and sweet, just like my little girl:) We are finally getting the hang of things. She is the best little sleeper ever! She now sleeps anywhere from 7-9 hours straight through the night. Don't get me wrong, we have bad nights here and there, but overall, I can't complain! She loves to be out and about. I take her everywhere with me and I love that I can! The holidays were so much fun with her and I can't wait to watch her grow. She is such a blessing and has brought so much joy to our lives. We love this girl so much!!!

Kevin finished the masters program at bellarmine university back in the fall. We went to his graduation ceremony a few weeks ago. We are so proud of him!!!

I can't believe my little girl is already one month old!!! We are finally establishing some sort of a routine. We usually get up around 10am and attempt to get ourselves together. This usually takes a couple hours between changing clothes, taking baths, changing diapers, eating, getting the house in order, etc. If we decide to go out for the day, we try to leave around noon. I like to get out and I think she does too. So far, she has been so easy to take places. She loves to sleep in her carseat. If we go out, we try to be home around 4 so we are there when Kevin gets home. We had our first night out this past weekend and she stayed with Kevin's parents. We had a good time and enjoyed being out. As much fun as we had, we couldn't wait to get her the next morning. She slept well at grandma and grandpa's house. As far as sleep goes, she naps well during the day between feedings. She goes down for the night in her crib around midnight and will sleep until about 5 or so. I feed her and she goes right back down until about 10am. During the day, she eats 3 ounces every 3 hours. We have been transitioning from breastmilk to formula. So far, so good. By the end of the week, she will be on formula only. I know there are pros and cons to both, but this is what works for us. We are so happy as our little family of three. She constantly changes everyday. We are so blessed!
