Project organization starts NOW!

I am in the process of organizing our basement. The laundry room is in the basement and I HATE going down there. I thought if I cleaned it up and made it cute, then I would enjoy it more. We are getting ready to start the process of finishing it and I can't wait! I am waiting on more shelfing but everything is in bins AND labeled. I even cleaned out the closets upstairs and cleaned under the sinks. I must have had 3 or 4 trash bags full of stuff to throw out. I'm not sure what got in to me! Here is a sneek peak. It is our utility sink that I made a skirt for. Kevin thinks I'm nuts for doing this, haha:) I will post the basement once it is finished. Don't hold your breath...I said 'getting ready to start.'

iPhone fun

My neice Karley and I decided to have a little fun the other night with the iPhone. I know her Meme, who lives up in New Hampshire, will get a kick out of these. When she was making the monkey face she reminded me of how Meme loves monkeys:)

Kevin is in Barcelona, Spain this week for a work trip. Sad to say I didn't get to tag along. BUT, when the cat's away, the mice will play! My mom and I went out to a few stores yesterday and got a few goodies. These were my favorite things:

The shoes were from DSW and the bowls were from TJ Maxx. The bowls match some of my baking dishes that I registered for at Macy's. I was so excited to find these. They will make cute candy dishes or ice cream bowls as seen above:)

Happy Bealted New Years!!!

We had a great New Years celebrating at Kevin's aunt and uncle's house. He is an electrician which explains the ball drop from their chandelier in their foyer. I posted a video. It is my first time posting a video so I hope it works. Enjoy!
