Peddlers Mall Finds

I love a great deal! I went to the local Peddlers Mall this past weekend and found tons of stuff. I'm not sure what I am doing with it just yet but I'm sure I'll find these things a home. We also framed our basement to be finished this past weekend. I can't believe they finished it so quickly. Drywall is coming in the next couple weeks. I will post pictures of the progress soon. I can't wait for it to be finished. I am so thankful and amazed that my husband is so handy!!!

My name is kid rock!

Kevin got some last minute tickets to the Kid Rock concert through work. It was at the new Yum Center (home of the Louisville Cardinals:). The place was PACKED!

He was really good in concert. We had a blast!

Until the 3rd song, when I got an entire beer spilled on me. You can't tell much from this picture but I was soaked! I went in the bathroom to dry off a bit and poured beer out of my shoes. Since we had just gotten there, I was a trooper and decided to dry off as much as I could and we stayed for the rest of the concert. I don't know who did it because I didn't see them since it was from behind. I was so upset to say the least. Thank you Kevin for the attractive angle at which this picture was taken:)

I didn't know he was so musically talented. He played the piano, guitar, drums, sang, and scratched the records. He was really good at them all too!


There were a lot of people dressed like this. Totally NOT my crowd. My bright colored outfit did NOT fit in at all:) Hahah!

Overall, despite the beer down my backside, we had a great night!

Happy Early Valentine's Day

I had been asking for one of these for a while now. It takes the most amazing pictures...or at least it will once I learn how to use it:) Thank you to my sweet husband for this early Valentine's gift. I love you and I LOVE my new camera!!! If anyone has any helpful hints on photography, please let me know.
