Thunder Over Louisville

Sorry for my lack of posts! It is officially Derby Season in Kentucky. Thunder Over Louisville is a HUGE fireworks display that kicks off the Derby festivities. We tailgated all day and the fireworks show started about 9:45. Here are some pictures...

Busy Saturday!

It was a beautiful day yesterday! After cleaning up around the house, I decided to meet my neice Karley (and her mom of course) out at The Summit. It is an outdoor mall and such a great place to shop when the weather is good. How funny are these sunglasses? I had to snap a picture. She's the best:) I can't believe she's almost 2!!!

I rushed home after my retail therapy experience to head to Lexington with Kevin. There was a big event at Sal's (awesome restaurant) benefiting the Haitian relief. They were selling Maker's Mark bottles with a personalized caricature on the label. Of course, since he works for Maker's Mark, we got one. I think it turned out so good. How funny is this???

Overall, it was a busy day yesterday. Today I plan on going for a run OUTSIDE!!! I'm contemplating the idea of grilling out for dinner. I LOVE warm weather. Bring on the spring!!! I hope everyone has a great week:)

Pillows Galore!!!

You know you're old when...

...all you friends either have kids or are pregnant. I went to a baby shower this past weekend for one of my best friends, Becca. My friend Erin just had her baby this past Friday. My other friends Jenny and Elizabeth had their little ones within the past month. There are a few of my friends that are also pregnant and due this summer. Everyone is growing up. It seems like only yesterday we were in college. Since then, I am now married but I haven't jumped on the baby bandwagon just yet. I have really been into decorating the house. I never thought I'd see the day where I would rather spend money on something for the house than a cute new outfit. I guess that means I'm getting old. Oh well, I kind of like it:) Here is the bedskirt I have been waiting on. Hopefully, the headboard will be here soon. I'll be sure to post pictures then. You know you're getting old when...
